Some Needed Inspiration

Friday, May 8th, 2009

I promised you another riveting installment today, and that’s what I’m going to do.

But…

It’s not what I was originally planning to send your way.

We’ll re-visit that on Monday.

Instead… I’ve decided to share this inspirational video with you.

My good friend, Dan Kuschell shared this with me, and I just couldn’t keep it to myself.

As a father to Brock, who just turned 1 last month, this video REALLY hit home.

As Lisa and I sat in the office watching it yesterday, we were both in tears, wondering how we would react in the same situation.

Many people would consider Patrick Hughes to be disabled, yet that hasn’t stopped him in the least.

He’s surrounded by a support team of family and friends, and as a result he’s been able to uncover his incredible talent.

He’s now touching people’s lives in a way that only he can.

As you watch the video, you’re definitely going to be inspired.

But…

In addition to that, I hope you’ll also take some time to reflect, just as Lisa and I did.

My goal in sharing this with you is to make an impact that will cause you to think, and ask yourself some serious questions.

Questions like:

What are my gifts?

What are my talents?

What do I have to offer?

What impact can I make in this world?

How can I connect with others in a way that will change their lives for the better?

Yes, this video will inspire you.

But let it also be a turning point in your life.

Enjoy.

I want to thank you in advance for taking about 3-minutes to give me your feedback.

By doing so, it will insure that I give you EXACTLY what you want (and need) from me.

Here’s the 3 questions:

1. How much money would make you REALLY happy?

2. What single thing, that if you learned it, would have the BIGGEST impact on your life over the next 30-60 days?

3. What do you believe has been stopping you from having success?

Your Reputation Is On The Line

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

Yesterday’s post obviously hit a chord, as evidenced by all the feedback I received.

Here’s an example of what I’m talking about.

Lee has more than one point to make.

Hi Kevin,

That was a great message yesterday, and a great comparison concerning the late great Paul Harvey.

What you are saying is so true and there have been many products I’ve personally purchased, just because it was endorsed by Mr. Harvey.

However, and I believe this to be the most important part, and one you did capitalize upon, and I believe you should have, is about the product itself.

You were absolutely correct in saying people purchased product endorsed by Paul Harvey just because of his name, but the product he represented were superior products.

Paul Harvey never endorsed a product that he didn’t feel was top of the line, and superior in every way to all other products in the same category.

I mention this is because it’s an excellent comparison to what you have to offer with the Automatic Income System, it’s a great system, top of the line, with an outstanding person behind the product, just like the products Paul Harvey endorsed.

If Paul Harvey had endorsed a substandard product that didn’t provide value to the people who purchased them, his reputation and good name would have tarnished, and consequently the point of diminishing returns of product endorsement would have occurred.

Do you see what I’m getting at?

Respectfully,

Lee J. Bryant

Hi Lee,

Thanks for the email.

You make some great points, and when it comes to recommending products, there’s a few things that someone in a position of influence MUST remember:

1. Your audience is your most important asset. Don’t EVER take them for granted. You must keep their best interest at heart, and never betray their trust.

2. Don’t offer or recommend sub-standard products. This will come back to bite you in the long run, and people will lash out against you.

3. Don’t be out for yourself. Too many people in positions of authority are attracted by the lure of “easy munee”. They recommend products solely for the purpose of making a buck, or getting a kick-back. Before they know it, those who once believed in them have become their worst enemy.

The fact is, when you go out of your way to provide value to others, it’s not difficult to create a nice income for yourself.

This is the ethical way to do business, and it’s the way I was taught from the beginning.

When you create a good reputation for yourself, as Paul Harvey did, people will naturally want to be a part of what you’ve got to offer.

The Most Listened To Man

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

Earlier this year, on Saturday – February 28th, the “most listened to man” in the history of radio died at a Phoenix hospital near his home.

If you don’t yet know who I’m talking about – it’s none other than Mr. Paul Harvey.

Paul was a legend, and listened to regularly by millions of Americans who felt they had a personal relationship with him.

This relationship was SO strong, that we would buy virtually ANY product he recommended – simply because HE recommended it.

Now that’s powerful.

Here’s a quote that’s even more powerful…

“My father and mother created from thin air what one day became radio and television news,” Paul Harvey Jr. said. “So, in the past year, an industry has lost its godparents. And, now millions have lost a friend.”

And yes, Paul Harvey was considered a close personal friend by many of us, even though we’d never met the man in person.

When I was a child, my parents used to listen to Paul, and they even rearranged their schedules if need be, so they wouldn’t miss hearing him.

What an incredible person he was, to have such a deep emotional connection with so many of us.

And the most interesting thing is this.

Because he had this connection, and we trusted him, selling products and services was simple for Paul.

In fact, it was as though he sold us things – without selling at all.

Now that’s something to aspire to.

When I first got into business, my #1 goal was to make cashola.

But…

Things REALLY started to take off for me, when I took my eyes off myself, and began concentrating on how I could serve others.

As a result, I too got what I wanted.

My income dramatically increased.

My lifestyle improved.

My business improved.

My personal relationships improved.

Heck…

EVERY area of my life improved.

And here’s the funny thing.

Today – making cashola is NOT my driving motivation.

My driving motivation is helping people like you.

I want to help as many people as I can, by sharing what I’ve discovered.

The lessons I’ve learned.

The secrets I’ve unearthed.

And like Paul Harvey, selling is simple for me.

In fact, I don’t feel like I’m selling at all.

Why?

Because I’m passionate about what I have to offer.

I’m excited for the opportunity to change your life forever.

I LOVE doing what I do.

As a result, people are simply attracted to me. They want to be a part of what I’ve got going on.

But here’s the best part…

When you have the same mindset, people will be attracted to YOU.

They’ll want to be a part of what YOU have going on.

And yes, selling will be simple for YOU.

So, let me ask you – if you aren’t already experiencing a life like this, isn’t it time that you started?
