I just got home from sunny Phoenix, where it hit 100 degrees.

Even better than the great weather, was the purpose of my visit, which was for Joe Polish’s Mastermind Group.

There’s 54 people in this group, and let me tell you, these guys know how to have FUN.

They’re definitely not your typical dry, boring business owner, who’s struggling to get by and barely making ends meet.

No SIREE.

These business owners are all about having fun, which is probably why they’re doing so well.

The photo above is of my friend Bedros (who’s also in the group), and it shows him throwing plastic eggs full of money from the stage at his recent seminar.

And take a look at the way he’s dressed.

He’s definitely not looking like your typical seminar host.

Why?

Because Bedros believes in breaking all the typical business rules.

After all, his business is a natural extension of the person he is, and how he sees himself interacting with other people.

And that’s how business is supposed to be.

If more people ran businesses like this, they’d be having a lot more fun, and they’d be making a lot more money.

I’ve never held a seminar like Bedros, or thrown plastic eggs full of money into an audience, but I sure do have a lot of fun in my own business.

And that’s what it’s all about.

You’re supposed to have a lot of fun.

Yes, you heard me right – you’re supposed to have a lot of fun in business.

Back in 1999, my friend Chet suggested that I begin keeping a journal and documenting how I spent my time, and what I did in my business on a daily basis.

He then gave me three REALLY good reasons for doing so.

1. It would be valuable for me to look back on, to remember all the experiences I had, and how I got to where I am in life.

2. It would be a great document for me to pass on to my children.

3. When I became successful (as I expected to), it would be a great document for anyone else who wanted to know how I did it, and how they too can have the same kind of results in their own life.

Though I didn’t give it much thought at the time, I WAS smart enough to take his advice, and I began keeping a daily journal.

Today, as I look at that journal, I think back to that conversation with Chet, because I now realize how important it was.

Little did I know at the time, how my life would unfold.

Who would’ve ever guessed that I’d be where I am today – certainly not me.

I sure as heck couldn’t have envisioned it back in 1999.

And to think, I’ve got EVERY SINGLE MOMENT of the journey documented – day-by-day, week-by-week, month-by-month.

Starting from when I was making just a few thousand a month, all the way up to present day, where that figure is well over 100K each month.

For the first time ever, I’m thinking of releasing my Lifestyle-Business Journal to the public, but I need your help before I do.

I know how much this journal is worth (because I know how much I’ve made over the years).

But if I were to release this journal, how much should I actually charge for it?

We have a lot of REALLY smart people in our midst, and that comes as no surprise to me.

Last Friday, I told you about my first business, the carpet cleaning company, and how I was hating life, even though I was making plenty of moolah.

When I asked for your feedback as to why this would be, many of you posted your comments on the blog, and you hit the nail right on the head.

There were actually several things that caused me to be so frustrated with the way I’d built my cleaning company.

Here’s just a few.

1. I wasn’t passionate about the work I was doing. Sure, there were aspects of that business I enjoyed, but most of my time was spent doing the things I didn’t enjoy.

2. The business controlled my time. I was working anywhere from 14-16 hours a day, and I was doing this 6 and 7 days a week. Talk about working your fingers to the bone.

3. I’d created myself a job, similar to what an employee has, where I was simply trading time for dollars. Sure, I might have been making a good income, but the fact is, I had to work hard for it.

4. I couldn’t leave the business for more than a day or two at a time because it needed me to be present in order for it to continue running. And vacations, well, they were out of the question.

You see, most people think that if they just had more moolah, everything would be great, and life would be a bed of roses.

I used to think the same thing.

That’s why I consider myself so blessed, to now be living life on my terms.

To have a business that I’m passionate about.

To get paid for something I LOVE doing.

My friend Joseph said it best when I was back in New Jersey spending time with him last December.

He said, “Kevin, you get to live the kind of life that not 1 in 10,000 people ever get to experience”.

But let me tell you, that’s about to change.

For the last two months I’ve been working privately with a group of 30 people, and I’ve been sharing my Lifestyle-Business Blueprint with them.

The results we’ve been seeing in this group have been nothing short of amazing.

People are discovering their true passions, and the real reason they were put on this earth.

They’ve learned how to translate their passion into a business that will pay them for doing what they love.

These same people have drastically improved the relationships with those they care about most – their husbands, their wives, their children and their close friends.

Yes, incredible things have been happening, and that’s why I’m so excited for the opportunity to now share the Lifestyle-Business Blueprint with YOU.

When I started my first business (the carpet cleaning company) back in 1996, I had BIG aspirations.

Big dreams for the future.

Big plans for my business.

My driving motivation for starting this business was making the moolah.

I figured this business would be a great way for me to make some serious ducketts.

But…

Within a few months, my aspirations and dreams came caving in on me when I discovered that it wasn’t going to be as easy as I thought.

It was a serious struggle for me to stay afloat during that first year in business.

But, in 1997, I had the good fortune to meet Joe Polish, and with his help, I turned that business around.

Finally… I was making a great profit.

So you’d think I should’ve been happy.

After all, that’s every business owners dream – to have a successful business that’s providing them with a great income.

But not me.

I was miserable.

Do you know what a palindrome is?

Until I got an email from my brother this morning, I didn’t have a clue.

A palindrome reads the same backwards as forward.

Well…

The video above reads the exact OPPOSITE backwards as forward.

Not only does it read the opposite, the meaning is the exact opposite.
