Kudos on the message.Struck me today as being particularly relevant today.The CD I produced in mid December is still not here, inspite of me repeatedly following up on it,my direct mail piece for Valentine’s Day which was promised to be delivered by last Saterday Feb 6 is no where to be found and the sales rep is denying any resposibility.And to top it all off nobody is working today! UGH!NOT THAT THEY ARE WORKING ANYWAYS. I THINK THEY JUST SHOW UP TO COLLECT THEIR MEAGER WAGE AND COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW LITTLE THEY GET PAID FOR NOTHING OR VERY LITTLE IN RETURN.(sorry for shouting)

Really AWESOME! There are so many hurting people out there, and so few people that really care.
All my life, I’ve had people come up to me on the street, or in a store….and just start telling me their problems. I can’t even tell you how many conversations with strangers I’ve had, that started with something like, “You look like somebody I can talk to…”
Lots of people are crying out for someone to listen, give them a little attention, act like they care whether they live or die…..!
More people than most of us realize.

It brought tears to my eyes. I think most of us do realize it, but we’re so embattled by our own struggles that sometimes we feel like we can’t help ourselves, how the heck can we help someone else?
Kathi, you’re not alone. I have people come up and start telling me their life story all of the time. My daughter will alway ask – “do you know that person?” She can’t believe how people just start talking to me.
Now, I’m off to see who I can help today.

Sometimes it just happens, spill coffee all over the front of you, now your running late go out and the car would start, finally get going to your meeting and luck hits again flat tire! Getting up on he wrong side of the bed cause all that! Maybe! I say THANK GOD I’m ABLE TO GO THOUGH LIFES CHALLENGES, Be Glad that you got up out of a bed at all! THANK GOD FOR BEING ALIVE!

Thanks for sharing that Kevin. The video brought tears to my eyes. It is so simple but so hard. Today at my job one of my negative co-workers said, “It’s going to be a terrible day” I kindly redirected him and said it will be a great day, just a very busy day. It worked wonders. Sometimes it just takes looking at a situation from a different mindset!

Wow..simple but profound. I get people coming up to me a lot and telling me all kinds of stories. I do the reverse, so I do understand. Sometimes if we just tell a stranger, then it feels better and we can go on. The stranger does not know our past, does not judge us by who we are or what we have done, they just listen. Thank you Kevin and Gail. Each of us who has listened to someones’ story was meant to be there at that time, we were someone else’s angel that day.
