On Friday – July 10th, I was minding my own business here in my home office, having some phone consultations with a few clients, when all of a sudden I hear this loud noise outside.

I wanted to get up immediately and find out what was going on, but had to wait until I got off the phone.

Meanwhile, I tried to ignore it as best as I could.

As soon as I hung up with my client, who happened to be Lon Kessler in this case, I went outside to see what in the heck was going on.

As a side note, if you’re reading this Lon, I’m REALLY looking forward to having another consult with you and your wife, so we can continue talking about your project.

When I went to the back yard, I discovered what all the noise was.

It was a group of 8 airplanes, doing air acrobats over our home.

Now, we only live about 5 miles from the airport, and we regularly have planes flying over our home, but this was a first.

Until this day, we’d never seen anything like this.

As Lisa watched them perform, I asked out loud, “I wonder what’s going on. Why are all these planes flying around over our home”?

That’s when Lisa reminded me that this was the weekend of the big air show.

Once a year, our local airport hosts a big 5-day event called the “fly-in”, where flying enthusiasts from around the Northwest gather for an extended weekend.

The weekend also includes a big air show that features some pretty amazing aerial acrobats.

These 8 planes, flying over my home, were obviously here for the “fly-in”.

That afternoon, I decided to head over to the airport, and get take a peek at what was going on.

Imagine my surprise when I got there, and discovered what I just shared with you in the video above.
