Thank You Kara Leonard

I wanted to take a moment to publicly thank Kara Leonard for the donation she made to the Thompson Family Foundation.

As you can see in the video above (that my wife Lisa made for you), your donation will be going to very good use, helping families who are less fortunate than us.

You may have noticed that my friend Jeff Ziegler, who also has a family foundation, just completed a major undertaking.

I let you know about his project the other day.

Here’s the email I just received from Jeff.

Dear Kevin,

Wow.

What an incredible past couple days it has been.

Many people from around the world heroically jumped
on board my Special Christmas Giveaway…

I am happy to report that it was a resounding success.

Thanks for helping me spread the word and the Christmas
spirit to these kids in need.

I simply could not have done it without you, and I am
so excited for the many kids whose holiday season just
got a lot brighter.

… So, thank you.

After the holidays, I will post in the membership site,
video footage from each charity event.

You will then see how your decision to lend a helping
hand had an incredible positive impact on the life
of a child… Stay tuned for more.

Best,
Jeff Ziegler

If you too got involved in Jeff’s project, I want to send you a HUGE “Thank You”.

In 2010, we’ll be using the Thompson Family Foundation to do many more great things, and have a positive impact on more people’s lives.

I’ll be sure to keep you posted every step of the way.

Hope you’re having a wonderful Holiday Season.

Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson

    Hi Lisa!

Well done. You are natural at getting across your sincerity… just like your hubby!

Atta Girl!!!! Heartwarming knowing you’ve given back. We also have a situation here in Detroit where the unemployment rate is now 50% — no, that’s not a typo. People are being evicted or foreclosed on 198 times each and every day. I’ve been mentoring a group of 7 single moms for three weeks now, hoping to empower and inspire them. Each week the group grows.
Gratitude is amazing and you are amazing to recognize it. Keep it happening!!
Wishing you abundant love and joy for the future!!

    Dear Kevin,

Your wife’s heart shines through! I lost my sweet…wonderful wife of 33-years about 2-1/2 years ago to an illness. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you this, but cherish every day you have with her.

Not all men are lucky enough to find a sweet lady as special as your wife must be.

    Merry Christmas!!!

PS: Brock looks like quite a sport…

Hello Lisa, good on you it is not always easy to live up to our intentions and sometimes we forget to follow up so as I say good on you you did it!

    Happy Holidays to all you.

What a blessing to be able to give back where you have previously received. This is such a heartwarming and emotional time of year — thanks for sharing with us. You have provided a great example and with the training and encouragement you all provide more of us will be following your example in the future.

    Health and happiness in 2010

Hi Lisa! Thanks so much for doing the video and sharing your story and the good things you and your family are working on. It really is great inspiration — so know that it’s appreciated — especially since being on video isn’t your favorite thing (not mine either)… :)

Hope you all have wonderful holidays!

    Hi Lisa and Kevin,

Great job – and I love your story. Thanks for sharing it, and letting other people know that a bigger, better future is possible, no matter how unlikely it seems at times.

Wishing you all a VERY happy Holiday season (I’m sure Brock will have a blast!) and a wonderful 2010.

  10. Kevin: I know you are so proud of your shy wife. She seems to be a very humble person
and a very loving Mother. I enjoyed the video, even though it must have stopped at least
ten times. Tell your wife to do more videos for you. She comes across as sincere and
honest, with a genuine compassion for those less fortunate. May God bless you more
    abundantly in the coming year.
I would love to contribute money to your foundation, but unfortunately, my husband and I
are filing bankruptcy because our limousine company was smacked horribly by the economy. We do not want to do this, but to survive we must. When we recover, I definitely
will want to give to your foundation. Pray for us. Thank you for giving to others.

  11. Hay Lisa & kevin! What a awesome way to celebrate Christmas! Thank you for what you do!
    Happy Holidays and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

  12. DEAR Kevin and Lovely Lisa,
When I first applied for Kevin’s teaching seminar I had no idea he was a Christian, but when I missed it because I was still coming
off of a bad flu and still am because of an illness I have (Lupus) that makes recovery of anything slow, and that embarrassingly
caused me to get behind a day and miss it, I knew only a brother in the Lord could write me the kind and giving email I received
    That same day.
I think I may have messed up again though because I didn’t do something right when I tried to text the code you gave me and
I still haven’t seen your seminar, but the more I learn about you and your life, and now a peak at you’re lovely wife, and I’m a little
Jealous of that fine little boy!! I want to learn from you all the more and I don’t have any money now, but I would LOVE to donate
to your Christmas charities as soon as I was making some and what was that about an Indian charity? I am always fascinated by
those because I have some Indian blood in me.
I also wanted to know if you and Lisa would mind sharing your love story with me. I wont be offended if you don’t so no worries,
I was just curious for some inspiration because after marrying right out of high school, and then staying happily married for 30
years before he left me for another woman and totally changed, I doubt very much that I will ever have love again, especially
because I have some disabilities from my illness mainly damaged feet and difficulty walking, but I find you two an inspiration
after your story Kevin about your first wife leaving, but how wonderful He brought you and Lisa together, that is a testimony of
    Love!!
Actually, I have found all your stories to be inspirational and I thank you for that Kevin and now Lisa too.
May God continue to bless and keep you and your family safely in His everlasting Arms. And keep prospering your company
so your family will be blessed and you can further the Kingdom!!
Love in Christ, Kim Milbrandt <

Dear Lisa. Thank you for telling your story. There is always a hope in the world where there are people like you and Kevin. And your boy is so wonderful. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
    Lots of love, Asta
