A Painful Discovery

As you know, last week I attended a seminar in Phoenix, where I had the incredible opportunity to meet Sean Stephenson.

He was one of the speakers at the seminar, and let me tell you, he had an important message to share – painful as it was.

After watching the video above, you’ll understand what I’m talking about.

While in Phoenix, I spent an evening with Sean and his dad.

During the course of our conversation, I asked Sean if he’d be willing to host a private seminar for you, and he agreed.

So…

What I need now, is to hear from you.

Would you find this valuable?

What questions would you have for Sean?

Give me your feedback below.

I’ll then share it with Sean.

If there’s enough interest in this, we’ll make it happen.

Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson
“The Automatic Income Coach”

P.S. I also picked up 50 copies of Sean’s best selling book, “Get Off Your But”, and will be having some kind of contest as well, where 50 of you will get copies of it.

One of my core beliefs to action is: “And the day came when the desire to remain the same was more painful than the risk to grow.” Seeing the contrast between what is and can be is a powerful motivation in my life. I’m 6′9″ tall and 63 years old. I felt the giant in this man and realized he is living from the viewpoint of his expanded-consciousness. I am part of this movement now I’ve seen the contrast – I want to learn more to be more to do more of what matters most, for myself and those in enough pain to risk growing.

This is awesome. How do I get on the seminar?
I would also like to get Sean’s book.

    Thanks so much.

  3. The video is very touchy and heart warming and it will inspire others to do what might seem impossible.

  4. Sanette says:

It seems as if this will be useful – it will help you reflect on your life. The difficulty is to apply the principles in one’s life.

  5. Hi Kevin,

    Great man, is Sean.

Thank you for inviting us to ask a question.

    (1) I would like to ask Sean what it is, in his experience, that ultimately gets people to change, to get off their butt and finally, finally, finally go for their dreams!

    (2) Oh, and while we have Sean’s attention, would you ask him what separates those people who want to grow and learn from those who just don’t seem interested and who (unknowingly) resign themselves to a life without challenges that just happens to them.

    (3) Finally, would he like to share his deepest wisdom about the meaning of life, why we are here, and how he looks at death.

    Cheers,

    Tom

The video reaches deep into the heart of overcoming anything, regardless of the situation we find ourselves in.. Sean has taken his situation, and transformed it into a positive, by teaching others how to think positive and overcome. He is living proof!! Since Sean is already comfortable exploiting himself and his personal situation, by personally teaching how he to overcome lifes adversities, and burdens, whatever they my be, turning them into positives, for the sake of all man kind is an absolute Plus ++++++

  7. Sean is a terrific example of how God can use people, in spite of their infirmities, to make a BIG difference in the lives of others. Sean has made the wise, but difficult, choice to be WILLING to be used to make a positive difference in spite of adversity that would cause most to surrender to the “stinkin thinkin” of UNABLE! We all need to hear more from Sean, and others with his attitude, to remove the “I feel sorry for me syndrome” from our bones!

Awesome and inspiring! I am married to a lovely women for the past 38 years, who is handicapped. She stopped working a number of years ago due to her disability and I have been trying unsuccessfully to get her interested in a home based web business. I really think she may benefit from such a seminar and hopefully get inspired once again.

It’s been an long time since I read the bible, but to butcher an quote from King Solomon…”all is vanity”. I guess my perception of this has been an major hang-up for years. All efforts, all wealth, all great accomplishments will fade into nothing over time. Why try, why get up and fight, why have goals? God has predestined us to this very thing at this very moment that we are living… What difference are we going to make? Just cry out to the all-mighty for “justice” or at least soothing of the pain.
Ten years ago I left behind some of that mindset and fought, then fought some more to be able to provide better for my family and to be of service to others. I was an misreable S.O.B. but made it to the top tier of my proffession. Now I’m starting over on an even greater leg of my journey, to become wealthy by helping more people.
I am comming to an more complete understanding that we do have free will and God is not blessing some while cursing others, “life is” and even though all of our acomplishments in this world will fade with time; each moment is mine and I should be greatfull for it, enjoy it and fully live it. Yea I know this cliche but the past is gone and future hasn’t come yet. I want to thank you for this video reminder to make the most out of this life even though pain and heart ache come, it’s still geat. An long time ago I figured up 70 years x 365 days = 25,550 sunrises, hopefully we’ll make the most of them.

  11. Tom says:

Thank you for sharing that Kevin. Sean has some very powerful insights that many people can and will relate to. I would like to hear Sean speak again if possible.

  12. yordanka says:

In my view Sean has a great strenght inside that everyone needs to possess in order to facing with the external dificulties and the inner barriers,Seans words may help us for finding the way and the meaning in life when everything seems to be desperately unendurable. He just showed that he is hero and the character of a man has a main role in one s life !HE is really inspiration in action ,i admire his innner power and would like to have a little of the strenght he has.Unbelievable, thanks

  13. Rich says:

Well spoken words. We can all benefit by learning to persist in gratitude.

  14. Harold Ward says:

A wonderful story of finding victory in tragedy. And purpose in sharing it with others.
True wisdom that the world can use.

  17. Todd says:

Yes I would, and did find it valuable. Very valuable in fact. So much so, that I will save this and watch it many times over. I don’t think I’d have any questions for Sean regarding the subject matter he is talking about. No, all I want to do is listen to him. I want to listen to him for hours.

  18. susan says:

I would love to hear more from Sean. That video spoke right to my heart today. Thank you. (He is an execellent storyteller!)

  19. Matthew says:

Sean is a prime example that there are no “Excuses” for anything in Life. A ‘fracture’ means that something is not whole. Would love to hear Sean expand upon how he believes that people can go about healing the fractures in any area of life to move toward wholeness? Bravo Sean! Thanks for kicking me in the ass!!!!!

  20. Brett Brodie says:

Wow. I am lost for words.

  21. Desiree says:

    Hi Kevin
Yes, for me it was very valuable. Makes you think that when Sean can overcom his pain than certainly can you.
I was very moved by the way he talked about his mam, I hope she is still living.
So my question to Sean is: Is your mam still a live and when not, do you have some one else to keep you going?
Thank you Sean and thank you Kevin for sharing this with us.
    Desiree

  23. Jane says:

WOW! The question – Is this going to be a gift or a burden in your life? – is so timely right now for me. It is something I need to think about as the little things pop up day to day and will help me deal with them so much better. And the ending – tremendous point.
    Thank you for sharing this!

    Jane

  24. Brian says:

One old wise man stated that you cannot impart that which you don’t have. Sean has wisdom and compassion and understanding. So what do I take from this? First – feeling sorry for myself is time consuming, selfish, and incredibly over-rated. Second – what I learn I can pass on to others (one hero of this story is Sean’s mother). And finally: be grateful for life! Thank you for this video

  25. Polly says:

I must say that he has more pain than I do. I can say, “I do not want the pain and do something about “. Well, I am not going to live with because I was not born wih it. It is created by bad men in this society. I am sorry for Sean, I do not understand his journey but he has a purpose. May the Divine Light goes through his body and heal him, so that he does not have all that pain to bear. Thank You.

    Polly

  26. Elaine says:

Sean has a special gift and you should help him to get his word out.

  27. Thank you Kevin, most rewarding. Elaine is right, he does have a special gift and it presents itself when ever he opens his mouth. I want his book also and thank you again.
    Rusty

  28. Barb Hauser says:

I’d be very interested in hearing from Sean again! What a remarkable man, with so much to share. The strenght of character that he has is what shows – not physical limitations. He is an example to us all……

  29. Thank-You Kevin, for sharing Sean’s growth and teachings all of us need to learn. If the Sean’s in this world were in office we would be growing strong!

  30. Hi Kevin,
I haven’t seen this video till now. I didn’t know there was such a video on the blog. Fantastic video. I especially love his closing comments, “Pain is inevitable… but suffering is optional.” Very motivating. I’m interested in him doing a seminar for me. Thank you.
