As I write this, we just got home from Chewelah, Washington, where we went to visit some good friends of ours for the last five days.

While there, I made this little video for you.

Stories capture our attention.

Everyone loves a good story.

For years, I’ve told you to share your own story.

In so doing, people will be attracted to you.

They’ll want to hear what you have to say, and as they listen in, they’ll get to know, like and trust you.

When you look at the emails I send you, and the posts I make to the blog, you’ll notice that I’m constantly sharing stories.

I tell stories about business, life, family and personal experiences.

And when you think about it, this is what captures your attention.

This is what keeps you interested in what’s going to happen next.

You too have plenty of stories to share, and when you do, people will be riveted to what you have to say.

All you have to do is start telling them.

And today’s technology makes it easier than ever to share your stories with the world.

Oh…

And just in case you’re wondering – yes, sharing your stories will endear people to you, and will cause them to invest in the products and services you have to offer.

But there’s one more thing you need to keep in mind.

If you’re simply out to make a buck, and you don’t care about providing your clients and customers with real value, it’s gonna come back to bite you.

You must truly care about the people who come to you.
