The Rear View Mirror

Here’s a photo that brings back a great memory from last summer.

I don’t know about you, but I love summertime, and am glad that winter is almost behind us.

Now that we’re into the month of March, the beautiful warm days of summer are just around the corner.

This photo was taken last July, as I was heading out to the lake for the day.

Now keep in mind, this was a back woods country road that I was traveling on.

So you can imagine my surprise when I see this in my rear view mirror.

My first thought was, “I wonder where they’re going”.

Within a few minutes, my question was answered.

I’ll be back tomorrow with two more photos that reveal the answer.

Oh…

And just in case you’re wondering, yes – there’s a great marketing and business lesson in this little exercise.

And it’s a biggie.

See you tomorrow.

Dedicated to your success,

    Hi Kevin,

I’m sorry, but I can’t see the image in the mirror well-enough to make an intelligent coment. It looks like a modified ‘43 dragster, about to lay down a good strip of rubedr, or something!

    Regards,
    Allen

    Hi Allen,

That’s exactly what it is… a modified roadster. And if you look closely, there’s a second yellow roadster as well.

Wait till you see the photos I’m putting up tomorrow.

    HI Kevin,
Lots of things can be inferred from the photo. It reminds me of how my wife and I planned for years, for a trip to Israel and our son’s bar mitzvah. I often think “I can’t believe that its three years in tHE REAR VIEW MIRROR! But just like the roadster is following you, the past still is a part of all of us.
ALSO.1) DON’t wear short pants if getting into a vinyl seated car on a hot sunny day.HOT!
2)Those people are following you because you know where the best fishing is.
    3) Your car runs on vegetable oil and they love the smell of the french fries!

    Hi Kevin,

Hot rods are cool. Us old gezers are usually the ones who have them. Kids raised=extra money for toys. Ah yes the old is still with us, all dressed up and ready to GO!!!!

Never take your eye off the road ahead of you, chance are something old from the past may be following you. ‘Something old’ from your past might be; bad business ventures, habits like serious procrastination, or perhaps even missed opportunities. No matter what, the road ahead of you is glorious. Just keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel.

  10. Hi Kevin, I’m as happy as you are about summer being on the way. I too believe in
keeping your eyes on the road because if you don’t anything can happen including an
accident also you can compare this same scenario to your business, you must keep
your eyes on the prize if you want to be successful.

Hi there Kevin. Where was you last night? I was on the phone waiting for ya to do that making money training. I’d like to get to know what this is about. :)

  12. Kevin Thompson says:

    Hey Mike,

That’s odd, someone else told me the same thing.

I did the training call as scheduled, so I’m not sure what the problem was.

Will be sure to let you know when I host the next one though.

    Kevin
