Will Smith’s Secret To Success

About a month ago, Barbara Walters hosted her interview with the top 10 people of 2008.

One of those interviews was with none other than Will Smith, and during that interview, she asked Will, “What’s your secret to having such a long marriage with your wife”?

When I heard his answer, it made complete sense to me.

In fact, as soon as I heard it, I immediately wondered why more couples didn’t make use of this secret.

His answer…

Divorce is NOT an option.

He then went on to explain that from the time he and his wife decided to get married, both of them agreed that divorce was not an option.

Far too many couples get married with the understanding that, if things don’t work out, we’ll simply get divorced.

As I listened to Will Smith talk about this, it made me think about my attitude towards business, which is very similar.

I’ve always believed that when it comes to business, failure is not an option.

From the day I opened the doors on my first business, back in 1996, I was committed to making it succeed.

I was committed to finding the resources, tools and people who could help me become successful in business.

And make no mistake about it, that attitude is what’s directly responsible for the success I’m having today.

It’s not that I’m that smart of a guy.

In fact, I can’t even remember the last time I came up with an original idea.

But, at least I was smart enough to seek out other people, who are smarter than me, and rely on them to help me grow my business and achieve my goals.

As in our marriage example, far too many people go into business, thinking that if things don’t work out, I’ll just find something else to do.

They think to themselves, “I’ll give this a try, but if I can’t make a go of it, I’ll just go back to what I was doing before”.

They refuse to make a commitment to themselves.

And let me tell you, if you’re the kind of person who can’t even make a commitment to yourself, you don’t have what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.

I know that might sound a little harsh, but it’s the absolute truth.

So let me ask you…

Are you committed to yourself?

Are you committed to finding the resources, tools and people who will help you become successful in business?

Are you committed to doing whatever it takes so you can provide for your family in the way that they deserve to be provided for?

If you answered yes to these three questions, then I applaud you, because you’re in the right place.

2009 is going to be a great year.

Many members are already reporting incredible results, and we’re not even through the first month of the year.

Next month, on Tuesday – February 10th, I’ll be introducing you to one such individual.

This particular individual has been having incredible success already, and he’s going to show you how he made it happen.

More importantly, he’s going to show you how you can easily do the same thing that he’s done.

So…

Mark your calendar for 5pm Pacific time (8pm Eastern time) on Tuesday – February 10th.

As we get closer to this date, I’ll give you all the details as soon as we’ve got them worked out.

But for now, if you’re committed to your success, you’ll want to mark your calendar and set the time aside so you can join us.

Dedicated to your success,
Kevin Thompson
